Our Little Orchard

Yes, we are adding to the world population again! Chris and I are expecting a baby on February 26th. So this means, we're actually going to expect it sometime in early March so that I don't get as disappointed and impatient as I was with Jed when he was late :) We are so excited about our new one, but I'm not as excited about how quickly I'm getting big! I have friends who are 2 months further along than I am who look less pregnant (I'm 3 months) but I'll take it. Maybe I'll get a 10-pounder like my friend Debbie. Anyway, I think we're continuing to follow the mandate of "be fruitful and multiply" that inspired the name of our blog. And as Chris likes to say "It's Biblical!"

We're not planning to find out the sex again, so those of you who are impatient will have an opportunity to work on that virtue:) If we have a girl, we are planning on using the same name we had chosen when we were expecting Jed: Lucille Josephine after 2 of our grandmothers. If it's a boy, Chris has chosen a great name: Abraham James. In about 6 months, we'll be able to let you all know for sure and I'll have an even harder time keeping up on this blog with 2 little ones at home:)
And now one more pic of Jed that we took last week. He's going electric -- much to his Dada's delight and his Mama's dismay. There is a bit of disagreement about the genre of music the Adamow family band will play and I'm afraid I'm losing ground . . .

Until next time . . .

  1. Just wait until little Lucy or Abe is born, I'm sure you can sway the band in your direction then. And you don't look very big! Can't wait to see you in person!
