Super-duper Thanksgiving Marathon

The Adamow clan headed up north to visit all the family over Thanksgiving break. We spent 5 days at Chris' family and then 4 days with my family and it was a blast to see everyone's reactions to Jed. He is getting to be such a cutie now and really likes smiling at everyone. His Grandpas both know how to make great noises that get a giggle every time. Here's my confession: I used to be what the stars call paparazzi. Since I actually had a kid, though, my brain has disappeared and I never remember to bring my camera to any family functions. You would think that with such a cute subject I would remember it all the time, but as you can see, I am greatly lacking in photos of Jed with the family this trip. The only time I remembered to bring it was to Grandma and Grandpa Boryla's house. The other pictures are thanks to Chris who has a much better memory than I. So, family, I am calling on you to help me out. When we're up for Christmas, please, please, PLEASE remind me to bring my camera and take lots of pictures so we can share them with all of you. Here are the few we did capture.

Papa Jim with the kids -- Naomi was loving having Jed around. She would come up and give him hugs and kisses all the time. She wanted to sit with him on my lap, on her lap. The only problem with this was that Jed is now 19 lbs 11 oz (officially as of yesterday) and Naomi isn't yet 30 lbs. So, you can imagine that he was a little stout for her.
Grandpa Adamow and Jed rolling on the floor. We were very happy that he got such good time with Grandpa this trip since the last few times we were up, Dad had been working. Jed loved when Grandpa barked like Lexi -- the dog.
Uncle Jeff is the only person who can make Jed's pouty face -- if you are wondering just check back a few blogs and compare :)

Jed and Cousin Lindsay playing on the floor with the diaper bag. This is a new favorite toy. He now prefers anything that is bigger than him or seems grown up to all his manufactured baby toys.

If you can't read it, the shirt says "Captain Adorable" -- how true!

Grandma and Grandpa playing with Jed. We stopped over there for lunch and just some time to chat. Jed was being kind of clingy for Mommy, but I was glad that he let both Grandma and Grandpa hold him for a while.

Please pray for us as we finish out this week . . . we are going to try to train Jed to sleep through the night. He did great until he was 4 months old and now he rarely sleeps more than 3-4 hours at a time. The doctor said he's trainable now and that he doesn't need middle of the night feedings and Mommy and Daddy sure could use a full night's sleep now and then! Thanks a lot and we'll be sure to let you know how it worked out. I'm not sure who it will be harder for -- Jed or me -- or Chris who has to put up with both of us!
