Family Time

My mom came right away to help out and she was there while we brought home Jed. The first few days at home have been amazing. Jed has learned to eat well and is already on a pretty good schedule. He eats every 3-4 hours and sleeps mostly through the night except for his feedings. When he’s awake, the only time he’s upset is when we’re changing him or giving him a bath. He was made for comfort! He is incredibly laid back and puts up with being passed from person to person. We took him on his first walk on Saturday – we went down the road to the park and back. Here’s the picture of our first trip.

Later on Saturday, Jed’s Grandma and Grandpa Adamow and Aunt Amy came in. Lots more hugs and kisses for our little man. They will stay until the 21st and Grandma Mary Lee will be here until the 20th. It’s a full and loving house right now. Jed has been doing so good that we decided to go ahead and take him to church. He slept through the whole service but it wore me out. I still have to learn not to overdo it. All of you who know me will believe how hard it is for me to just sit on the couch or in a chair and let everyone else around me do all the chores. It has been a wonderful blessing to have all the help. We have already had many visitors to the house and everyone seems to think he’s adorable and sweet. Just goes to show you what smart friends we have J. Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement. We can’t wait to share our bundle of joy with all the rest of you! Love, Chris, Emily, and Jed.
